Join the Water Rocket Challenge with ESERO Luxembourg!
ESERO invites Luxembourgish schools and families to take on the Water Rocket Challenge – a fun and educational competition, free of charge and open to children aged 8 to 19.
The goal? To land a water-propelled rocket as close as possible to a target located 70 meters from the launch point.
In teams of 2 to 4 people, participants will build their own water rocket using educational guides and launch it three times, adjusting different parameters such as air pressure, water quantity, or launch angle. Supervision by a teacher or parent is required.

Teams will be divided into two launch sessions:
Session 1: 09:00 – 12:30 (max. 20 teams)
Session 2: 15:30 – 18:30 (max. 20 teams)
Prizes for the best teams!
Awards will be given to the top three teams in each category, as well as for special distinctions, such as the most original rocket and the best team uniform.

Important note
- Teachers can enter several teams.
- Rockets must be completed the day before launch
- A tent with support equipment will be available to repair damaged rockets after launch.

The soccer pitch is just a few minutes’ walk from the Luxembourg P+R Bouillon .
Catering and toilets
- Food trucks and drinks will be set up near the soccer pitch. Lunch is provided by ESERO.
- The toilets are located near the changing room next to the soccer pitch.

ESERO Luxembourg may take photos and videos at the event for promotional purposes.
